2010 VCA National Field Trial

The Vizsla Club of America will host its Golden AKC Anniversary Field National Events at historic Fort Robinson State Park, Nebraska; starting early October 4 to completion in 2010. FRSP is located in the NorthWest High Country. If one thought Nebraska is flat, Fort Robinson will be a delightful surprise with its rolling, rolling foothills to treelines and horizon with starkly magnificent mountain backdrops.

Fort Robinson State Park was once a military horse remount station & its rich western history fills its pores throughout the park. Fort Robinson is famous for their Indian Wars & Massacres, Chief Crazy Horse surrendering & also housed the Buffalo Soldiers. Former barracks & Officer quarters are available for renting. They are simple & clean accomodations. One will literally step back into western lifestyled times.

The area is well noted for its western cuisine with a special buffalo twist. If you have never had buffalo, this is not an opportunity to pass by.

The Agate Fossil Beds, Mount Rushmore, The Black Hills, The Badlands, Custer State Park & Deadwood are all day-trips from the Fort Robinson area.
